The Trust, “Louisville’s most underrated outfit of rock ’n’ roll wanderers” (Louisville Music News) is back with their long- awaited release, Songs in the Key of H Vol. 1.
The first installment in a series of three EPs, SITKOH V.1 will undoubtedly have you dancing a distorted salsa, exploring a digital universe, blasting you off into outer space with no intention of returning back to earth, and much more. The unique blend of funky guitar riffs, quirky lyrics, and driving rhythms delivers a refreshing high-energy-meets-groove combination.
This self-recorded/produced EP features singer/guitarist Jon Beazlie, Joe Wheeler on bass, and Jeremy Smith on drums. Mixed by Jon Beazlie and Brian Cronin at Goldsmith Studios. Mastered by Donnie Bott.
The Trust is the ongoing music project from guitarist singer songwriter Jonathan Beazlie. His past projects/bands have included The Herbie Hinkle Ensemble, spearheaded by the elusive sometimes fictional Herbie Hinkle, (may he rest in peace) and Beaz Trio. It's no coincidence that he's recruited bassist Joe Wheeler and drummer Jeremy Smith into this project, because technically all three bands/projects are one in the same.
